A coffee pour-over class is an opportunity to learn the art of brewing coffee using the pour-over method. This method involves pouring hot water over freshly ground coffee beans that are held in a paper or metal filter, allowing the coffee to slowly drip into a vessel below.

During the class, participants will learn about the different types of pour-over equipment available, including the Hario V60, Chemex, and Kalita Wave. They will also learn about the importance of using freshly roasted coffee beans and the role that water temperature and coffee-to-water ratios play in achieving the perfect cup of coffee.

The class will be led by an experienced barista (Jon) who will guide participants through the steps of preparing a pour-over coffee. They will demonstrate how to properly bloom the coffee, control the water flow, and adjust the grind size to achieve the desired flavor profile.

Participants will have the opportunity to practice making their own pour-over coffee and receive personalized feedback from the instructor. They will also have the chance to taste and compare different types of coffee, allowing them to develop their palate and appreciate the nuances of different brews.

class cost is $45per person - you get a brew card, a bag of coffee & a total class time of 1 hour (might go over an hour). During this time you'll taste, brew & discuss the process.

Overall, our pour-over class is a fun and educational experience that is perfect for anyone who wants to learn more about the art of coffee brewing.
